Enable .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1
If you are using Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1:
Check to ensure Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 has been installed and enabled on your Windows PC. Details of how to enable
.NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8 in Offline Mode are provided on Microsoft website https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/install/dotnet-35-windows-10
In the Command Prompt, type: "sfc /scannow" (with the quote marks)
System File Checker - SFC - will scan your system and (hopefully) fix some of your system files.
Restart your computer
If the repair does not solve your issue, you may need to uninstall/reinstall all versions of Microsoft .NET on your computer.
